We specialise in LA WEAVE®, Easilocks® and Racoon Hair extensions® and are one of the few salons in the country to offer the Racoon Hair in Recovery program for clients that have suffered medical hair loss. Offering non-damaging methods such as luxe bonds, itip, tape and Braidless weave extensions your hair is safe in our hands. Hair Extensions can be used to add length, volume, colour or texture to transform your hair into that desired look. LA WEAVE®
FULL HEAD FROM £300 This hair extension application is great for thick glam hair. Tiny micro rings are applied to your hair in 2-5 rows then a weft is cut to size and sewn to the micro rings. This method doesn't involve any glue, heat, chemicals or braids. No maintenance needed. Removal at 6-8 weeks. Can be refitted for further use. TAPE HAIR EXTENSIONS FULL HEAD FROM £350 Tape in hair extensions are thin tape wefts that lay extremely flat to the head so you can barely feel them. They are taped in a sandwich like effect throughout your hair using a type of medical adhesive. As they are an inch in length they are applied to the hair very quickly and you can have a full head of glamorous hair in around an hour, great for clients that don't like spending hours in the chair. Maintenance isn't required, removal should be around 6-8 weeks and can be re-taped at an extra charge and then refitted. |
Racoon Luxe Link
FULL HEAD FROM £470 Perfect for full head and partial applications, for length or for volume, Luxe Links are comfortable to wear and as safe and sure, as they are versatile and undetectable. Luxe Links – exclusive to Racoon are the smallest links on the market. The round-cornered micro links come in four link shades and although the link itself cannot be re-used once removed – the hair can. RACOON BONDS FULL HEAD FROM £470 This method of hair extension has a luxe bond at the top of each strand which is hand rolled to your natural hair. The bond is formed by rolling the bonding agent between the thumb and finger. Maintenance is advised at 4-6 weeks and removal at 3 months and can be reapplied. Racoon hair in recovery will need to have a more detailed consultation, this can be done when the salon is closed as it can be very personal talking about hair loss. |

Hair extensions can be used in many ways - to add temporary highlights to virgin hair, adding thickness, even to add volume, and of course the most popular method is of course to add length. Hair extensions provide instant glamour. What type of hair do you use? We have a variety of different types of hair, we use Indian, Brazilian, European and Russian/Mongolian. We believe the hair we use is of the best quality on the market today. We have searched for YEARS and sampled many different suppliers hair to get to the quality of hair we use today. Our hair is 100% human hair and all cuticle correct How do I prepare for the hair extensions? Before your fitting please make sure your hair is washed, preferably with a clarifying shampoo, this ensures all residues are removed. Residues must be removed as they can affect the adhesion of the glue. Please do not use conditioner on your hair as this may cause the extensions to slip slightly. Try to leave your hair as natural as possible and do not apply any styling products, please have your hair in its usual parting and straightened if possible, this will make it easier to see where the bonds are going to be applied, even if your own hair has a natural wave as the hair is applied straight and it helps to see where the extensions are needed. How long does it take for a fitting? Depending on what type of hair extension you have will depend on how long it takes: LA WEAVE® 1 – 2 hours Tapes 1-2 hours Racoon luxe links 2-3 hours Racoon bonded 2-4 hours How do I look after my extensions? We will provide you with an aftercare leaflet and extensive advice throughout fitting, if there are any questions you wish to ask, we are always available by phone. Are there any specific products I should use on my extensions? An aftercare kit is recommended with all fittings, it is very important these are used as the products are designed specifically for our hair and will ensure the hair stays looking sleek and silky for much longer. You must use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and a brush designed to go over the bonds to avoid matting How long will the extensions last? Each person is different, depending on climate, water, products used, care for the hair, brushing, heat appliances, swimming, sunbeds, rolling around in your sleep even or how often washed etc. Due to all these factors no one can give an exact amount of months hair will last. Companies that do this are misleading as each person has different circumstances. They can last for many months or be easily ruined if not cared for and maintained properly. |
FAQ Cont.Racoon Luxe Links/Racoon Hot Bonded clients:
It is VITAL that you attend regular maintenance appointments every 4-6 weeks, you lose approx. 100 strands of hair per day, so over 6 weeks that’s about 4000 old hairs that need to shed. It is normal to lose around 1-5 bonds per week with this method and these can be put back in on maintenance appointments. On Maintenance you will have: • Lost strands replaced • Any matting removed (luxe links are great as there is minimal matting compared to bonded) • Areas of luxe links or bonded moved up i.e.: around your hairline and ears LA WEAVE® and TAPE Clients 6 - 8 weeks your extensions will have to be taken out and re put in Before you have extensions please consider: Not everyone is suited to wearing hair extensions, you must think carefully before you have a fitting if you will be able to manage and look after them. They require extra TLC and time. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR OWN HAIR EXTENSIONS. We cannot guarantee that your own hair will not be damaged as a result adjusting to the hair extensions, removal is safe and easy but MUST be done by a hair extension technician. Why is 'half a head' only advised for thickness and not length? 'Half a head' is a phrase commonly used to describe a client's requirement for hair extensions, that are generally worn for thickness only. This is great for a fuller look. However, as you would not have the same amount of hair extensions applied to that of a 'Full head', it is very difficult to achieve a longer look without your extensions looking too false and thin, unless a full amount of hair extensions is used. The best option for you will be discussed at your consultation, taking various factors of your own, natural hair in to consideration. What is your cancellation/refund policies? If for any reason you change your mind before the hair extensions are applied, the deposit paid on your consultation is non-refundable. If you want to change the day or time of your fitting please give 48hours notice. Once the hair extensions are applied due to the nature of this business, we do not offer refunds, unless there is a faulty with the hair of course. What do i do with my hair when I want a break? The hair is yours to keep and can be put back in at any time, but we do not store hair in the salon. What method of payment do you accept? We accept cash, card or BACS.
